THE four people arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a cyclist in Pontnewynydd on Wednesday can be held for a further 36 hours.
A warrant for further detention was granted this morning at Cwmbran Magistrates Court for the four people arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of 63-year-old John Reeder from Pontypool.
The three men aged 18,19 and 23 and the one woman aged 19, all from the Pontypool area, will be held for a further 36 hours.
John Reeder was found dead on the A4043 on George Street in Pontnewynydd on Wednesday morning.
Gwent Police ask if anyone has information to call 101 and quote log number 73 7/8/13.
