A REPORTED sexual assault in an alleyway in Cwmbran is no longer being investigated by the police.
The alleyway between Henllys Way and Waun Road was cordoned off all day on Sunday while Gwent Police made enquiries.

Gwent Police have confirmed they are investigating an alleged sexual assault, reported in the early hours of this morning, against an 18-year-old woman by an unknown man in a lane between Waun Road and Henllys Way, Cwmbran.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should call 101 quoting log number 53 2/2/14.

AN ALLEYWAY near a Cwmbran primary school has been cordoned off this morning while police investigate an assault which took place there.
The Argus asked Gwent Police when the assault took place in the alleyway off Henllys Way, St Dials, near Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbran, but a spokeswoman said she could not comment as it was part of an ongoing investigation.
