THE bidding war for one of Justin Bieber's shoes will end later today, but with offers coming only half way to the target of £500, New Inn mum Khloe Waite is appealing for more bidders.
The online auction, launched by Mrs Waite to raise money to help an Oakdale baby have life changing surgery, ends at 4.50pm today.
Her children Ralphie, nine, and Beau, seven, won the shoe in a raffle at the star's Birmingham concert in March last year.
Since bidding began ten days ago the shoe has attracted 2,600 views on eBay and offers have reached £250, half way toward raising the target £500 to help youngster Ayla-Mae Hemms have life-changing surgery in the US.
Ayla-Mae, who is 18 months old, is profoundly deaf and suffers spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, her family need to raise £100,000 to undergo selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery to help her become more independent and have the chance to walk unaided.
As well as the shoe, a signed record from the singer, a gift bag, 'Beliebers' scarf, concert lanyard and the tickets to the event are included in the auction.
She said: “I really hope that bidders will bid the target of £500 tonight to help this youngster to walk,” she said.
