UPDATE: 3.01pm Monday 14th April

Gwent Police confirmed a 38-year-old man was found dead at an address in Cwmbran on Thursday at 9.30pm.

The spokesman said the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

UPDATE: 12:34pm Saturday 12th April

GWENT Police believe that a hazardous batch of heroin could have been the cause of one death.

They report that a person died of a suspected drug overdose and three other people required medical intervention in the Gwent area in the last 48 hours.

It is believed that a hazardous batch of heroin could be the cause.
