YOUNGSTERS from 1st Abergavenny’s Rainbows visited Abergavenny’s castle and museum to work on a project about the castle.
Staff gave the 15 girls a backpack containing replica artefacts, chain mail, fact sheets and binoculars, each.
The girls examined medieval utensils and sang Head, shoulders, knees and toes in Welsh and English.
Rainbow leader Karen Yearsley said: “The girls had enormous fun. There were many requests to return”.
Abergavenny Museum is open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 1pm and 2 to 5pm and 2 to 5pm on Sundays.
