A GROUP of young singers hit the stage at a Cwmbran store and raised £300 for St David's Hospice Care.
The four-strong singing group, named Cantabule, sang a selection of songs to entertain customers at Wilko on Llywelyn Walk and raise money for the store’s regional charity of the year, St David's Hospice Care.
Cantabule group member, Amie Osbourn, has worked at Wilko Cwmbran for almost four years and is currently studying performing arts at Cardiff University.
The group was asked to perform by Wilko Cwmbran store manager, Cheryl Boutcher.
Following the performance, Miss Osbourn said: “It was great to be able to sing in store with the group, we’re all really good friends so it was a naturally fun performance.
“I’m really glad we helped raise further funds for St David's Hospice Care.”
Ms Boutcher added: “Cantabule’s performance was brilliant and the customers enjoyed every single song.”
