A TORFAEN takeaway was fined for a series of food hygiene breaches.
Newport magistrate's court heard that food handlers at Naseeb Tandoori take-away in Broad Street, Blaenavon, did not display a high degree of personal hygiene, including not wearing suitable protective over-clothing, staff licking their fingers during food handling and not using soap to thoroughly wash their hands.
Foods were not being chilled, and staff were not disinfecting worktops.
Sajjad Ali admitted the offences and was fined £375 with £220 costs.
