  • "another reason why I dont go near these so called quality establishments - minging examples of sloppy food that bears no resemblance to Indian food - its only the ones that get caught on the day bet there are endless others with good food ratings that have disgusting practices. Cook from home its safer, cheaper and healthier."

A TORFAEN takeaway was fined for a series of food hygiene breaches.

Newport magistrate's court heard that food handlers at Naseeb Tandoori take-away in Broad Street, Blaenavon, did not display a high degree of personal hygiene, including not wearing suitable protective over-clothing, staff licking their fingers during food handling and not using soap to thoroughly wash their hands.

Foods were not being chilled, and staff were not disinfecting worktops.

Sajjad Ali admitted the offences and was fined £375 with £220 costs.
