ENVIRONMENTALISTS are improving public gardens with new features like insect hotels, bird boxes and shrubs known to attract pollinators.
Members of Llantarnam Residents’ Conservation Society teamed up to do conservation work at Oakfield Gardens in Oakfield Road, Cwmbran, on Tuesday.
Society member Sarah Jacobs said: “Some of the members also built two insect hotels within the park area to encourage insect and bug growth.”
