A GROUP of supermarket workers will jump up to 13,000ft off a plane to raise funds for the Royal British Legion this summer.

Iceland employees Sasha Staddon, 23, Darren Hanson, also 23, and Hannah Parry, 24, will do their first ever skydive to support their store charity on August 2.

Meanwhile two of their colleagues, Luke Penny, 20, and Lucy Jones, 22, will join them at Swansea Airfield the same day for a charity skydive in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK.

The workers at the store in Monmouth Square, Cwmbran, will also take part in a fundraising ball for the two charities at the Olive Tree pub in Edlogan Way, Cwmbran, from 7pm on July 2.

The store will organise other fundraising activities the week following the skydive. Customers can also make donations by picking up fundraising forms in store.
