MONMOUTHSHIRE will be represented by three women in beauty pageants across the UK.
Stephanie Alford, 28, who is currently Miss Monmouthshire and Cheryl Webb, 22, who is Miss Chepstow, will be taking part in the final of Beauty of the UK which is held in Preston in October.
There are three rounds that include eveningwear, fashion and an interview.
The duo are organising a mini pageant to be held at Severn Bridge Social Club in Chepstow on September 13 to raise money for Rays of Sunshine, a charity which helps grant terminally ill children’s wishes.
There will be three age groups; two- to five-year-olds, six- to 11-year-olds and 12- to 15-year-olds.
Emma Williams, 18, of Undy, who is currently Miss Caldicot, is set to compete in this year’s Miss Teen Great Britain final in Blackpool at the end of August.
The Wyedean School pupil is raising money for the Claire House Children’s Hospice, which provides care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
