THE A40 Northbound between Raglan and Monmouth is closed.
Fire crews have now left the scene following a two vehicle collision.
Crews from Usk, Monmouth and Malpas were called at 6.53pm today to the A40 between Mitchell Troy and the Gibraltar Tunnels, Monmouth.
Crews left at 7.52pm this evening after making the vehicles safe. One person was treated by paramedics at the scene.
A Gwent Police spokesman said no one sustained serious injuries.
The road is expected to be re-opened at 9.10pm.
