CWMBRAN-based Victory Church UK is holding The Big Easter Give Away this Easter.
Pastor Clyde Thomas said: “We really love Easter and as a way of showing the community some love and thanks, we are taking to the streets of Green Meadow and Old Cwmbran to provide local children with Easter eggs.
“Around 100 people or more from our church will be knocking doors and giving away the eggs on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.”
The church members are aiming to give away a minimum of 1,000 eggs in their biggest ever Easter initiative to date.
“We want kids in Cwmbran to know that we believe in their potential and love them,” he added.
“We want to share some of the love that we’ve experienced as followers of Jesus, and what better time of year to do it than Easter.”
The church is also hosting a fun-packed afternoon called The Big Easter Event for all the family on Easter Saturday from 12noon to 3pm at Victory Church on Greenforge Way, Cwmbran.
Activities will include a bouncy castle, live music, fairground rides, an Easter egg hunt and giveaways.
