A CURTAIN rail fell down as the Duke of Edinburgh unveiled a plaque at
the official opening in Edinburgh yesterday of the technology centre at
Mary Erskine School. The Duke burst out laughing and the audience of
teachers, parents and pupils joined in as he quipped: ''That's
technology for you.'' He went on to tour the centre where he saw
teachers and girls using computers and working on product designs.
