NEWPORT Gwent Dragons winger Hallam Amos has got the nod for Wales’ crunch World Cup clash with England.
Amos, 21 today, has been selected ahead of Lions speedster Alex Cuthbert and will win his fifth cap at Twickenham.
Tighthead Samson Lee is only fit enough for the bench with Tomas Francis starting. Aaron Jarvis covers Gethin Jenkins with Paul James out with a calf injury.
There are two minor surprises in the tight five with Scott Baldwin preferred to Ken Owens at hooker and Bradley Davies getting the nod in the second row ahead of Luke Charteris.
“Saturday is a huge occasion for both teams and for the tournament and we are really looking forward to it,” said Wales Head Coach Warren Gatland.
“Both sides kicked their tournament off with a bonus-point win but we know we will need to step up at Twickenham on Saturday.”
