ARRIVA Trains Wales is advising customers that rail services to and from Cardiff will be busy tomorrow and Friday as thousands of Rugby World Cup fans pour into the city to watch the matches being played at the Millennium Stadium.

Arriva Trains Wales, Great Western Railway and Cross Country will be adding extra capacity and services before and after the match.

They are advising all customers travelling to Cardiff to use the earliest train possible, and those intending to use the train to get home are advised to check the time of the last services and allow plenty of time for travel.

On Friday, due to the late 8pm kick off, they are advising rugby fans who want to use the train to go directly to Cardiff Central Station after the match.

For safety reasons there will be a post-match queuing system for entry into Cardiff Central Rail Station.

On Friday, families with children younger than five years will be able to use the high accessibility lane near the centre of the queuing system as will those who need assistance due to being pregnant or impaired mobility and special needs.

Customers are advised that queuing times after the match may be up to two hours for some destinations.

Cardiff Queen Street station will be closing at 6.30pm on both days.
