A CARE home in Cirencester has donated half of the cash raised from its summer fete to a charity organisation in the town.
Hunter’s Care Centre raised around £1000 for through the fete which was held in June and included a classic car show and barbecue.
And the car home decided to donate £480 of what was raised to the Churn Project as it believes it does great work for the community.
Activities co-ordinator at the care home, Steve Chamberlain, said: “They are good people that work for the people in the community.
“It is nice to have those links between us and the local community.”
