A 52-YEAR-OLD Chepstow woman who won a makeover and took to the catwalk has bagged a new job in the fashion world.

Jo Perrin was one of five women chosen to have an 'extra special makeover' modelling clothes as part of Bristol Fashion Week.

Since winning the makeover, she has bagged herself not just a new look but also a new job.

Jo applied for a Bristol Fashion Week makeover after she was made redundant from her job of 12 years and decided it was time to reinvent herself.

"I applied for a it because I wanted to boost my confidence and feel ready to go out and face the world to get myself a great new job," she told the Argus said.

"Little did I know that this experience would completely change my life.

"Not only have I reinvented my style, but I'm also starting a brand new career as a fashion ambassador for Marks & Spencer. I can't wait to get on the catwalk and celebrate."

Ms Perrin, Anna Snow, Sara Ambacher, Louise Wilcox and Natalie Welsh all received an exclusive shopping trip with Bristol Fashion Week host and TV stylist Mark Heyes, who helped them select a new look to transform themselves.

They also received a complimentary hair makeover with Tomlinson, the official hairdresser of Bristol Fashion Week, and a makeup masterclass with Bobbi Brown at John Lewis at The Mall.

Bristol Fashion Week features 17 catwalk shows, showcasing the latest trends from the high street. It features fashion to suit every age, budget and size.

Bristol Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 ran between Wednesday, September 30, and Sunday, October 4.
