THE Specials’ Neville Staple will headline May’s Devauden Festival.
The seventh annual festival will feature Mr Staple, who also performed in the Fun Boy Three, as its headline act for Saturday, May 21.
Caldicot’s Rusty Shackle will perform as headliners on Friday, May 20. That has been designated Folk Night.
Festival organiser Jeremy Horton said: “Neville Staple is credited with changing the face of pop not only once but twice in two of the most iconic bands of all time.
“I’m certain that this legend and forerunner of the ska movement will make Saturday night really special.”
Over 30 bands have been booked for the two dates – which because of recent success will be held in two adjoining fields.
Campers are welcome and there is car parking available. There is space for a limited number of campers vans – but not caravans.
