A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A4043 Snatchwood Road in Abersychan.
Paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service arrived on the scene at around 5.10pm, with officers from Gwent Police attending.
A spokesman from Gwent Police confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash and the man on the motorcycle was taken to Nevill Hall hospital with 'non-life threatening' injuries.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed that the paramedics left the scene at around 6.10pm.
Traffic has also returned to normal.

TRAFFIC is slow on the A4043 in Abersychan following reports of an accident involving a motorcyclist, close to the Methodist Church.
Snatchwood Road is affected in both directions and the road through the Torfaen village is partially blocked, with the incident happening at around 5.20pm.
A spokesman from the Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed that paramedics are on the scene.
