Firefighters were called to rescue a trapped horse in Glanaman yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews from Ammanford were called at around 3pm on Sunday, December 4 to Ty Llwyd Farm to save the animal after reports it was stuck in a ditch.
A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called to Ty Llwyd Farm which is in the Ammanford area at 3.03pm after a large horse had got stuck in a ditch.
"Fire crews from Ammanford attended and used a small gear and GP lines. A vet was also in attendance.
"The horse has been freed and it looks fine.”
