FIREFIGHTERS were called to a computer fire at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in South Gloucestershire this morning.
Avon Fire and Rescue sent five crews from Temple, Patchway and Southmead Fire Stations to the scene in Abbey Wood, Stoke Gifford, at 7.40am.
Those inside the Ministry of Defence’s four storey building had already evacuated the site.
The firefighters found smoke coming from a computer panel in the computer room on the ground floor.
They used a ventilation fan to clear the building of smoke, and believe the fire was accidental.
