OVER 30 jobs will be created in Torfaen when a new trampoline park opens this weekend.

The Limitless Trampoline Park will be located at the Leisure@Cwmbran development — which already houses Vue Cinema and restaurants — and will open its doors on Saturday, February 18.

Limitless, which also has a park in Swansea, was founded by a group of friends including ex-steelworkers from Port Talbot.

The Limitless Team, who work closely with local schools and charities in Swansea, hope to do similar work in Cwmbran.

The key aim of the park, as stated on the company’s website, is to encourage children to “put the iPad down and engage in exercise in a fun environment”.

Their Cwmbran site will offer a variety of activities in addition to trampoline facilities, from foam pits and a cafe to a hang tough/battle beam gladiator-style challenge area.

The centre will cater to adults, children and offer specialist sessions for families with autistic children, providing a “safe environment” where children can “learn and interact”.

Limitless organisers have also confirmed they will work with Torfaen County Borough Council to provide recruitment opportunities and training in the future.

Co-founder Bethan Green, 33, of Risca area, confirmed that the centre has employed 32 people and that the park was finished five weeks ahead of schedule.

“We’re really excited about the launch and we’re from Risca so it’s lovely for us to see the community all get behind us,” she said.

“The backing we have had has been amazing and it’s lovely to bring something to Cwmbran and to receive such positive feedback.”

The Limitless team have also released a video on social media showing the finished park and are holding competitions on social media offering free tickets.
