A TORFAEN woman has seen off rivals and won the prestigious Miss Intercontinental Wales title.
At the UK Power Pageant, held at the Park Hall Hotel, Lancashire, Jemma Cox was crowned the winner after wowing the judges with her interview and evening wear.
Holly Pirrie, who is director of the UK Power Pageant, said: “I am thrilled for Jemma.
“She has worked so hard and truly deserved to win the Miss Intercontinental Wales crown.
“She is going to have the time of her life at the Miss Intercontinental final later this year.”
The 24-year-old winner has also won a £250 voucher for The Dress Studio, hair products from Duncan Fisher, earrings from Earring Envy and a teeth whitening set.
