A STUDENT from Pontypool who didn’t think she had the intelligence to go university has landed her dream job with a mental health charity.
Jade Sallis, 25, a recent University of South Wales graduate from Pontypool, has landed a job as a first contact and support worker at charity Mind.
When she was 21, she was working full-time in McDonald’s but four years later, Jade has graduated with a degree in psychology and counselling.
“This course changed my life and put me on to a stable, salaried job,” she said.
