GWENT Police are investigating a burglary and criminal damage done to a church.
The incident occurred sometime between 2nd and 3rd of August at St Marys Church in Llanfair Kilgeddin, Monmouthshire.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: "Damage has been caused to oak door of the church and historic oil lamps inside have been broken.
"The offender/s have taken a large distinctive brass plaque along candle holders and metal pipes from an organ inside."
