John Bailey Memorial Cup semi-final round up:

Goodwick United will take on Clarbeston Road in the final of the John Bailey Memorial Cup at Phoenix Park tomorrow night (Friday) after overcoming rivals Fishguard Sports on Tuesday.

The hosts overcame The Sports 5-2, avenging their surprise loss against their local rivals in last summer’s final.

Jordan Griffiths led the way with a brace, with further goals from Wayne O’Sullivan, Rhys Dalling, and skipper Adam Raymond (penalty).

The Sports however, again put up a fight, with Keegan Summers and Ieuan Llewellyn netting for them.

Clarbie meanwhile, who begin life back in Division One next week, won through on Monday as they defied torrential rain to beat Prendergast Villa 5-1, with Jason Griffiths banging a hat trick and Dan Rees and Tom Oram-Reubens completing a comfortable win.

  • Meanwhile, the final round of group games in the Bluestone Foundation League take place tonight.

On Tuesday, only one game took place, as the West Dragons beat Narberth 6-2 to secure their place in the final, with goals from Scott Crawford (2), Tony Evans, Jordan Richards, Dorian Davies (penalty), and Jordan Williams.

Tonight they host second placed Bluestone AFC, with Pendine facing Narberth.

St Clears and Carew and have been unable to fulfil their scheduled games.

Regardless of the results, it is now confirmed The Dragons and Bluestone will play again for the Bluestone Foundation Shield on Friday, September 1st, at the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium.
