POLICE are appealing for information after a large amount of women’s jewellery was stolen from a home near Caldicot.

The house in Crick was broken into via the rear patio doors sometime between 9.20am and 11.55am on Thursday, August 17.

An untidy search was made and the following was taken from within:

l A pair of tanzanite earrings – yellow gold, a small triangle shape with a blue stone

l A pair of gold earrings with a green emerald stone

l A pair of plain gold stud earrings

l A pair of cameo earrings described as a terracotta base with slightly raised cream head

l A matching cameo ring with gold band

l A small box of assorted gold earrings which contained a pair of opal white studs, a yellow gold sapphire ring with platinum shoulders which the band had snapped on.

l A yellow gold ring which had a cluster of pearls

l An automatic Stainless Steel Watch, bought In 1978.

l Two stainless steel watches, analogue quarts cal 6M25 and 7T62.
