A CWMBRAN-BASED animal charity and sanctuary has received funding to help to improve the care to its animals.

All Creatures Great and Small has received a £8,000 grant from Support Adoption For Pets, the UK’s largest grant giving animal charity, to purchase a new vehicle to safely transport animals in its care.

The charity has been working tirelessly to rehome pets in the area since 1992 and the sanctuary operates a programme of rehabilitation and rehoming of injured, abused and orphaned animals.

Amy Wilson, Fundraising Manager at Support Adoption For Pets said “It is a real privilege to help an organisation that works so hard to care for and rehome pets in need.

“They are doing a superb job, and the effort the rescue puts in is an inspiration.”
