A GWENT company is one of the main contributors to a prestigious magazine.

Tredegar-based Atal UK is one of the key contributors to the prestigious 2017 Parliamentary Review, the magazine which is sent to more than 500,000 policy makers about best practice and the latest innovations in UK industry.

Managing director David Rees wrote an article for the latest edition of the independent magazine which was focused on construction.

The company was chosen as a contributor because it has created a reputation for excellence and specialism, based on the skills of its 21 employees.

Mr Rees said of the article, which will be sent to politicians and business leaders: “As we face up to Brexit and its implications, it is vital that policy leaders hear the voice of the construction industry.

“My article looks at the importance of continuing to trade both ways with companies in countries such as Germany and the Netherlands, and fears that Brexit will suck substandard materials into UK construction projects.

“Atal UK’s excellent reputation is built on the foundations of our commitment to our training programme and the quality of our products and service.”
