CHILDREN at a Monmouth nursery have taken the opportunity to show their mums just how much they love and appreciate them.
To celebrate Mothering Sunday, the children invited their mums to join them for a morning of pampering at Monmouth Schools Pre-Prep and Nursery on Friday.
Nursery leader, Mrs Victoria Taylor, said: "Lots of mums came along and had their nails painted, hair done, hands massaged and bracelets made for them by their children.
"It was great fun but also served a purpose to help the children develop their fine motor skills and to thank their mums.
"The mums were given goodie bags, containing bulbs planted by their children in October.
"It was a very special morning and great to see the children fully engaged in all the activities."
