GWENT is expecting to be bathed in sunshine for the rest of this week, according to the Met Office.
The warmer weather is expected across the UK, with highs of 16C forecast in Newport tomorrow.
On Wednesday, the Met Office forecast predicts: "Patchy mist and fog will quickly clear and the rest of the day will be dry, although cloudier than Tuesday.

The forecast for Thursday and Friday predicts: "Thursday and Friday will remain dry with light breezes and some warm sunny spells."
The long term Met Office outlook, which runs through to June, says that there is an "increase in the likelihood of high pressure" over the next three months, which is typically associated with warmer-than-average weather.
Make the most of the good weather during the week however, as Saturday is expected to be cloudier with some light rain, with a potential cold snap on the way on Sunday night.
