PONTYPOOL RFC have announced that there are extremely limited spaces remaining on their supporters coaches to the WRU Cup semi-final on Saturday.

As a sign of appreciation for their supporters, the club offered to provide free transport for fans to and from Eugene Cross Park in Ebbw Vale for the clash with Premiership and cup holders Merthyr RFC.

The free coaches will be running from Trosnant Street in Pontypool and Cwmbran train station.

Pooler have confirmed that more than 200 supporters have taken up the offer, reserving their seats for the game.

The club have now announced that they have just 10 spaces left on the coaches leaving Trosnant Street and only two spaces on the coaches leaving Cwmbran train station.

The coaches will be leaving both locations at 3.45pm on Saturday afternoon, before starting the return journey from Ebbw Vale at 8.15pm.

Supporters wishing to reserve a space on a coach are asked to email secretary Jamie Hallam on jamie.hallam@pontypoolrugby.co.uk.

In the email, please provide all passenger names and your pick-up/drop off location.

Orders will take up to 48 hours to be confirmed.

Ahead of the game, both clubs have confirmed that due to a decision taken by the organisers, supporters will not be allowed to take alcohol into Eugene Cross Park for the semi-final.

However, supporters will be able to purchase alcohol from bars inside the ground.
