A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital by helicopter following a collision on the outskirts of Cwmbran.
Gwent Police confirmed the crash, which took place on the afternoon of Saturday, April 6, involved a car and two motorcycles.
A Wales Air Ambulance helicopter was called to assist one of the riders, who had suffered a leg injury.
His injuries are not life-threatening, a police spokesman confirmed.
The incident happened on the A4051 (Cwmbran Drive) at around 3.45pm on April 6.
The road was closed between Avondale Road and Ffordd Tir Brychiad, near the Taylor Wimpey development, while emergency services attended the scene.
