THE M4 Prince of Wales Bridge will undergo a series of full carriageway closures over the next two weeks.

On Monday, May 13, the eastbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm until 6am the following day.

This eastbound closure will again be in place from 8pm on Tuesday, May 14, until 6am the following day; from 8pm on Thursday, May 16, until 6am the following day; and from 8pm on Friday, May 17, until 6am the following day.

The westbound carriageway of the M4 bridge will be closed completely on Wednesday, May 15, from 8pm until 6am the following day.

On May 16, lane three of the westbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm until 6am the following day; and on May 17, lane one and the hard shoulder will be closed between 10am and 3pm.

The reason for the closures is because of maintenance work.

On the M48 Severn Bridge, the westbound carriageway will be closed completely from 6am on Saturday, May 11, until 8pm the following day.

On the eastbound carriageway, lane one will be closed on Wednesday, May 8, 10am-4pm; and lane two will be closed on May 11, 8am-3pm. A diversion for the eastbound lane closures will be in place at M48 Junction 2.
