CWMBRAN pupils went back to the 1920s to perform a production of musical Bugsy Malone.
Around 60 pupils from Croesyceiliog Comprehensive School took part in the play which is set in 1920s New York and tells the tale of gangster warfare – where bullets have been replaced with custard pies and flour bombs. The students have been working for the past three months on the play and have been involved both on the stage and behind the scenes.
Head of drama at the school, Jonathan Willis said: “The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed putting the play together. It has been a great event to end the term with.”
A final performance of the play will take place tonight at the school at 7.30pm. For tickets contact the school on 01633 645900.
