POLICE are appealing for information about a burglary in Monmouth after two men posed as waterboard workers.
The burglary in Kings Fee, took place at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, July 7. One of the men kept a woman resident talking and moving around the premises, while the second man her money.
The men were white and in their mid-30s. They were around 5ft 10ins tall and of a medium build.
One had dark hair and was wearing a white baseball cap with a large peak which had a small dark mark on the front forehead area. He wore blue jeans, a lightweight long sleeved suit jacket which was open at the front with a round neck t-shirt underneath, possibly yellow in colour. He is described as having a local, Monmouth accent.
The other man had mousy brown hair and also wore a white baseball cap with a large peak and blue jeans. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
