FLOATS and walking entries from every school in the Abergavenny area together with local groups made their way through the town centre for the annual carnival procession.
Children from Cantref Primary wore hand-made costumes themed under the sea. The main attraction at Bailey Park was the return of It’s a Knockout after a decade-long absence.
Chairman of Abergavenny and district carnival committee Chris Evans said: “We had hundreds of entrants and spectators at what was a fantastic event. It’s one of the biggest turnouts we’ve had in recent years and the entrants put in so much effort."
