CALDICOT will host a bumper timetable of events on June 4 to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. A number of events with a 1950's theme are being organised by town council's events committee.
Caldicot town mayor, Cllr Maria Stevens said: "The events will take place at Caldicot Castle where we hope to make the day a happy and memorable one for all ages. The events committee consists of representatives from Caldicot schools, churches, clubs, and associations who are actively involved in encouraging the community to get involved in the planning. Also, charity groups will have the opportunity to raise funds for their worthwhile causes."
A full programme of events will be announced in the near future. Anyone wanting to be involved in the events please contact Dave Evans on 01291 420354.
