CHEPSTOW'S second ever Steampunk festival is expected to be a sell-out.

Organiser Andy Dingley said he is hoping the three-day event, from May 18-20, will return bigger and better than last year.

Various Victorian-themed events from the era will be going on throughout the event, including a spaghetti bridge building contest for budding Brunels to showcase their engineering skills and a performance from Professor Elemental.

He will be leading workshops at the town's tourist information centre on the Saturday.

A magic lantern show, music on the bandstand, and Castle Dean Productions' performance of The Tale of Sweeney Todd are amongst the other events planned.

The Ambling band from Bristol will be playing their instruments around the town, while people attending will be in Victorian costume.

Tickets are still available for the Friday from Chepstow tourist information centre, or by calling Mr Dingley on 01291 422593.
