DO YOUR part to raise money for four-year-old Eloise Lawn, who has been diagnosed with cancer by taking part in a zumbathon.

Eloise, who lives in Leechpool, near Portskewett, was diagnosed with lymphoma in January and is undergoing chemotherapy.

Since this time a group of local parents and friends of the Lawn family have been organising fundraising activities across the county in aid of children's charities, under the name Team Ellie.

Now, they are inviting you to do your bit by taking part in a zumbathon at Chepstow Leisure Centre on April 22, between 3.15pm- 4.45pm.

It costs £5 to take part and all the money will go to the charities LATCH and CLIC Sargent.

Eloise used to attend Daisychains Countryside Childcare before moving on to primary school, and her two year old sister Eva still attends, so the group decided to organise a fancy dress sponsored walk around the Caerwent Roman ruins to raise funds.

Over two mornings, staff led more than 20 children on the walk raising £454.35 for Team Ellie.

Eloise's mum, Suzanne, described it as an amazing effort and would like to thank everyone who took part.
