CELEBRATIONS: Wyn Reynolds celebrates her 100th birthday
A RESIDENT at Castle Court care home in Chepstow has celebrated her 100th birthday.
Wyn Reynolds celebrated the occasion with a birthday tea party at the home with family and friends.
She was born in south London and trained to be a teacher, getting a position in Leeds.
This was where she met her husband, Errol, who was also a teacher, and the couple got married in 1935.
They lived in a Yorkshire village, and had two sons Meredith and Nigel, before moving to north London where their third child, Stella was born.
When Mr Reynolds retired the family moved to Dorset, where Mrs Reynolds lived for more than 40 years.
In December of last year, Mrs Reynolds came to live in Chepstow to be nearer her son Meredith and his family who had previously moved to the area.
Mrs Reynolds has seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, with many living in USA and Canada, as well as Wales and England.
