Top tips for Cwmbran pupils from paralympic swimmer David Roberts

KEEP FIT TIPS: Paralympic athlete David Roberts
PARALYMPIC swimming ace David Roberts made an appearance at Our Lady of the Angels RC School in Cwmbran, giving pupils the opportunity to train with the sporting superstar.
During his visit on October 10, pupils took part in a series of fitness activities with the athlete, which were tailored according to pupil’s age and physical ability.
The event was about encouraging children to think of exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle.
The afternoon ended with Mr Roberts speaking during an assembly, showing off Paralympics medals and answering questions.
The school’s headteacher, Sheelagh McCool, said: “We were all inspired by this visit and are delighted that Our Lady of the Angels RC School has been able to foster links with The Jamie Baulch Academy.”
