Mabey Bridge has been shortlisted for the Monmouthshire Business Awards 2014 in the category of Excellence in Marketing.

The shortlisting follows a very positive entry from the company that focusses on its ‘Bridging Time’ campaign which seeks to promote the wide-ranging work that Mabey Bridge does within the communities in which it works.

Jane Campion, head of marketing at Mabey Bridge, said: “Mabey Bridge actively supports many good causes and events, including heritage projects, community events, local groups, organisations and charities, and works closely with schools, colleges and universities to promote excellence in engineering. Support can take the form of time and effort donated by Mabey Bridge personnel; expertise and materials donated by the company to help progress projects; and financial support through donations and sponsorship.

“We developed a campaign – Bridging Time – to bring together all of our community activity under a single umbrella, the title of which refers of the heritage of the company. Bridging Time links community activity to our professional capabilities and the business values to which the business operates.

“Not only is this shortlisting recognition of the marketing team’s hard work in helping to build and maintain the profile and reputation of the company within the marketplace, it is also a recognition of the excellent community work done by the company and its employees.”

Now in their third year, the Monmouthshire Business Awards are supported by Monmouthshire County Council and Business Wales. Winners will be announced on October 10.
