A fair day’s work for a fair day’s pay is the idea behind Chris Woolley’s new business.
The decorator and maintenance man has launched Fair Deal, aiming to provide a value-for-money service to homeowners in the Caerphilly area.
He received a Start-Up grant from Caerphilly Council and Tata Steel subsidiary UK Steel Enterprise, to help get the business off the ground. Already the signs are promising with jobs coming in from around the South Wales Valleys.
Based in Aberbargoed, Fair Deal puts Chris’s 30 years’ experience at the service of his clients, who may want some decorating done, a DIY job or gardening.
Ruth Headon of UK Steel Enterprise, added: “The sort of service Chris offers is very useful. People want to look after their most valuable asset – their home, but find that repairs can be extremely expensive.”
Sharon Owen, CCBC added: We are pleased to be able to support enterprising new businesses within the county borough.
