Barclays is hosting a cyber-security event in Abergavenny designed to bolster business confidence and raise awareness of the importance of cyber security to the local business community.

The event, taking place at the Kings Arms Hotel in Abergavenny on Wednesday, June 8, from 3pm to 5pm, will feature presentations and an interactive showcase of Digital Technology and Innovation supported by Digital Specialists, looking at, password protection, invoice fraud, the dangers of social engineering with guest speaker DI Paul Peters from the Regional Cyber-Crime unit who will provide an overview of the law enforcement response to cybercrime.

The event is one of many taking place across the country, covering a wide range of topics to support the local business community.
