Newport-based Henry Howard Finance has appointed Gareth Burkitt as a trainee administrator through its graduate scheme.

He will be working across all four branches of Henry Howard Finance, HH Vendor, HH Asset, HH Retail and HH Cashflow Finance, to learn about all aspects of the business.

A graduate from the University of South Wales, Gareth brings with him several years of hands-on experience working in a number of clerical and administrative roles in finance-focused environments such as South Wales Property Solutions and Monmouthshire County Council.

His appointment marks a return to Henry Howard Finance for Gareth, who undertook a week of work experience for the company while still at school, before going on to complete a BSc degree in Geography and Geographic Information Systems.

He joins the business as it expands across South Wales and the South West following a £25m investment in the business in 2014.

Gareth said: “I am really excited to return to Henry Howard Finance and look forward to learning more about the independent finance industry. I hope to contribute to the future success of the company.”

Mark Crook, founder and COO of Henry Howard Finance, said: “We are really pleased to welcome Gareth to our expanding team.

“We are dedicated to bringing the brightest young minds to Henry Howard Finance Group. As part of our graduate scheme we expect Gareth to develop quickly within the company.”
