Everett Tomlin Lloyd and Pratt Solicitors has strengthened its child care department by recruiting experienced children panel solicitor Jess Gray .

Ms Gray, who was previously head of the family and children department for six years at her former firm, having joined them initially as a trainee solicitor in 2004, will work with Kay Perrott who is also a solicitor member of the Law Society’s Children Panel.

Members of the Children’s Panel are recognised experts in the field of children law. They are able to advise and offer representation in court for parents and grandparents involved with social services, but can also represent the interests of children as appointed solicitors advising the child’s Guardian.

ETLP has more than 40 staff working from offices in Newport, Pontypool and Usk and has a large matrimonial and care department.

Jess said: “I am thrilled to be joining such a well respected and progressive firm. I am looking forward to working with Kay and the other members of the team.”

Head of Department Kay Perrott said: “Jess is a very experienced child care lawyer and is highly regarded by her clients, professional colleagues and peers.

“I’m delighted that such a talented solicitor has agreed to join our team. Jess has an excellent reputation and I’m sure she will be a huge asset for the firm.”
