Wales’ leading retail services firm has created a new role as a result of significant growth.
RMS (Retail Merchandising Services), which is based in Newport, has appointed Claire Humphries as chief people officer.
Claire will be responsible for streamlining HR processes and ensuring that ambitious recruitment targets are met this year.
Previously employed at Centrica, Claire has 19 years experience in the human resources sector, managing both smaller teams and those of FTSE 100 companies.
She has been appointed as a result of MD Daniel O’Toole’s ambitious growth programme and restructure following his promotion in October last year.
Claire said: “This is an exciting time to be joining RMS. I am looking forward to working with Daniel and the RMS team in supporting the success of the business and working together to attract the best talent while maintaining our existing workforce.
“RMS has a vast workforce across the UK, and I’m keen to strengthen this offering, instilling the revamped company values across the business and build a connection with all the individuals within the company.”
Daniel said: “We’re delighted to welcome Claire to the team. Her experience will be invaluable in ensuring our ambitious recruitment and staff retention targets are met during a period of growth."
