Newport-based law firm QualitySolicitors hpjv has again achieved Lexcel Accreditation, the top legal practice quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and client care.

The accreditation is awarded by the national Law Society for England and Wales following a demanding initial application and assessment process review.

Annual assessments are then undertaken by an experienced independently trained Lexcel assessor which includes detailed background checks and on-site visits.

QualitySolicitors hpjv were re-accredited in all seven areas of reassessment: structure and strategy, financial management, information management, people management, risk management, client care, file and case management.

QualitySolicitors hpjv’s managing partner Jayne Chandler and practice manager Angie Gurdon took on their roles this year, so the reassessment was based around how well the practice is maintaining compliance at a time of transition.

Jayne Chandler, managing partner, QualitySolicitors hpjv, said: “Achieving Lexcel Accreditation is no mean feat. It showcases the hard and professional work our team demonstrates for their clients every day, and is another great milestone for QualitySolicitors hpjv.”
